Build Your First Chatbot

Create something fun and shareable. Over six training days you'll use Python to build a working chatbot from scratch, learning about logic, APIs, and problem-solving along the way.

Format

6 training days across 2 weeks (Friday to Sunday over two weekends), 6 hours per day.

Daily schedule

Six hours of training each day, with a lunch break and two short breaks:

• 09:00 – 10:30 — Session 1
• 10:30 – 10:45 — Short break
• 10:45 – 12:15 — Session 2
• 12:15 – 13:15 — Lunch break
• 13:15 – 14:45 — Session 3
• 14:45 – 15:00 — Short break
• 15:00 – 16:30 — Hands-on lab & wrap-up

• Day 1 — Fri, Mar 05: How chatbots work — a Python refresher and the big picture
• Day 2 — Sat, Mar 06: Handling input — parsing user messages and conditionals
• Day 3 — Sun, Mar 07: Logic & responses — rules, dictionaries, and randomness
• Day 4 — Fri, Mar 12: Adding an API — connecting to an external service
• Day 5 — Sat, Mar 13: Memory & context — keeping track of a conversation
• Day 6 — Sun, Mar 14: Launch — polish and share your chatbot
